UIC Student Entrepreneurship program to offer scholarships to graduates
UIC student entrepreneurs will receive $250,000 in student scholarships and other grants under the UIC Entrepreneurships for Students Scholarship Program.
The scholarship will provide a maximum $250k for a UIC graduate and will cover expenses including tuition, books, transportation, health insurance, and other costs for two years.
The fund will be administered by the UIMS (University of International Management) and will open to all students who have earned an undergraduate degree from a U.S. accredited university.
The program is being launched by UIC Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Initiatives, Anupam Nadda.
UIC is a partner in the program.
In 2016, UIC launched the UIES scholarship program for students from low-income backgrounds who are enrolled in a UIMC accredited university, to provide financial aid to students in need.
